Soo its $60 more for the comfort of no rattling? That not too bad. I forgot how short the reduction of the throw on the b&m is, but how much shorter is the twm compared to the b&m?

i am not sure how much shorter the b&m is than stock. but i know i'd rather havey oem long-throw shifter over the b&m at this point..

Thats the other great part about the TWM Imo it has a shorter throw but not to the point where its too short. I personaly dont like short shifters like that. Also the TWM shifter has a bearing where it mounts on the linkage that is internaly greased which wont crap out over time like most other shifters, and the pivot ball is one solid piece.

This. Plus it just feels better in action. Shawn you are more than welcome to take it for a drive.

I've had my TWM on my B14 for a little less than a year now. Very happy with it, I'm using it with the OEM B14 knob. Only thing I had to do was hammer down my heat shield a little bit because the shifter would graze it. Other than that, straight forward and crisp. I got mine BNIB for $70 from someone that just wanted to get rid of it here on the forum.

I have yet to feel a shifter better the pacestter on these cars. That shifter is over priced for what it is imho

Looks like a nice shifter. Almost every short shifter Ive seen out there rattles and yes its annoying.

Looks like a really nice piece and im sure with the bearing and one piece pivot ball its probably smooth as hell and solid.

My pacesstter has never rattled. But the pacesetter isn't made by themselves. They just used the good design that another company had before them. Can't remember there name though

The twm is a nice shifter dknt get me wrong. But there's only so much you can do with the cheap shifter in these cars. Now if you compare more complex shifter then you see where they shine.

pacesetter is too light of a shifter.

twm I am not a fan of, never was never will. they know this and I have said it in multiple forums.

TWM shifter is not worth more than $50-75 tops in my books sorry.

Curious as to why you say they are not very good.
