Thread: how to: yellow foglights=cheapass way

so a buddy of mine told me about this wen i did my vw headlight swap. hes part of a galant forum that he heared it off of there...and for **** and giggles i tried it......rather than get the stained glass spray paint....

whats needed:
1.yellow sharpie permanent marker......(told you it was the cheapass way)
2.foglights of course

and just color the lense inside or outside of the lense housing.....

cant tell to much here but it worked good....

No offense, but that is a cheap ass way to do it, and the ink will burn from the light. Then you'll end up with no color after a bit of time.

Been there done that.

ya it probably will burn off ,but i was bored and had a yellow marker to try it so it didnt matter.....maybe i will try the staind glass spray paint wen it burns off

Why not just get Lamin-X? That way you won't have to separate the housing to paint it the right way. Not only that, but Lamin-X will also help protect the lights from rock chips and whatnot.

were can i get that?and its a film right????
