^^that's brass so the sender weight would be an issue.

Doubt it, my AEM sender has been fine with using that kit. The piece is so small and short, I have a hard time believing that it would cause any issues.

Some pictures of running the adapter...

This is VDO Mech Gauge, SS line, SS line to 1/8NPT adapter, 1/8npt to 1/8bst Autometer brass adapter.

Now I have it as, Oil filter housing -> 1/8bspt to 1/8npt Autometer brass adapter, ss line to 1/8npt adapter, SS line -> Aluminum Tee -> Turbo. Otherside of the Tee goes to the VDO mech gauge.

thanks vadim for the pics.

you don't have your dummy light hooked up?

i was thinking of running a line so the sender wasn't vibrateing off the adapter all the time. is the senders being damaged from vibes that common? basically remote mounting the sender.

I think the sender for the electric VDO gauge includes a post to hook up the dummy light. I have it hooked up on my car, although I still have not taken a picture of that yet for you.

Dummy light is exactly as the name calls it. The only time I had the dummy light come on is when my engine was starving on oil and it was just about to die (sludge monster that ate oil).

So I'll stick to my Oil PSI gauge any day .
