and i see it. my experience?
first off it's a 17957, over 4ltr model. when the flapper is closed its much quieter than the straight thru magnaflow it replaced. when the valve opens (ie @ cam switch) it sounds very much LIKE the magnaflow. very buzzy.
and yes, it rattles. a lot. especially at start up and when ever letting off the gas. such as during shifting or coasting in gear.
i bought it like 5-6 months ago. it only has like 1500 miles on it. WHO wants to BUY IT off me, REALLY CHEAP?

quality control
It seems there is some real quality control issues with them as I've put over 10k miles on mine and with none of the rattles. I did go straight to advance and have them order it direct so it was the "newer" muffler which I think they've attempted to remedy the rattle issues... Teal, any chance you got one of the older ones? I guess I'm just lucky...

Considering that the boxer engine is the loudest f**king engine I've ever heard only second to the rotary engine just think how well this would work on a lonely 4 cylinder car.

Fuck a stock OEM muffler. (even that STI thing people utilize)

Vibrant is the only one that I have heard as a true straight through with a good noise.

X2
Love my Vibrant(s).
I had a 3" on a VE and a 2.5 on a DE.
Both sound so deep and nice. Not to mention the stealth flatblack
I did want to try one of these VT,but I had a feeling when the flapper opened up it would not sound as good as the Vibrant...just a feeling I got

I search youtube for four cylinders with mufflers to see how they sound.

Each time whenever a dynomax VT opens up on a straight through system, it sounds like raspy, bee can time. I hate that I despise that noise. I tried to get rid of it in my 2nd setup while staying up the Magnaflow family and I got damn close, but the muffler sucks I think. I love the resonator, but the muffler still doesn't have enough or could be proper density of material to absorb high end frequencies. (aka bees)

eggman, your videos were one of my first hearing a Vibrant muffler and I loved it. Extreme kudos, bud. I know Shawn B got one and I know he is happy as a pig in shit with it now. Whenever I go on YouTube and find vibrant 4 cylinder videos, a lot of the time, it sounds good. Whatever they did, they did a pretty good job.

i gotta agree on the vibrant thing, my gf's g20 doesn't have a resonator and yet its not very loud.. now take danfivetens car which is basicly the same exact thing except using a magnaflow (albeit a round style) muffler and its loud an obnoxious an ricey sounding..

both cars have 2.5" mandrel exhaust With cats
