Thread: dissapointed! **UPDATED**

just bought a 60mm ws2 and had it installed today. before i had a twinloop on. my low end seemed to kinda struggle to go and it didnt sound as i was hoping it would sound like. even though my cat is cracked on the inside, my twinloop still sounded better. but the plus is that i can barely hear the ws2 on the highway. here are some videos i took earlier. i have a new cat on the way and planning to buy a big resonator.

setup is vrs 2.5 tubing with a 240 magnaflow cat and a 60mm WS2.

Got a 28in resonator in and helped alot.

Kinda sounds like a honda... No offense, but it's a bit too raspy for my taste.

Yea I would be disappointed too. Mine is only raspy up top maybe my cat is cracked too...

anybody know the biggest resonator i can run without hurting performance much? its lowered on prokits and has kartboys exhaust bushings.

WS2's usually sound super sexy. Dunno what happened here.

Has to be the way his exhaust is set up.

What kind of header are you running? I know you said your cat is cracked, so that obviously needs to be fixed. Do you not have a resonator installed yet? Diameter isn't as important if you get it long. Like an 18" or so, and ID matching the rest of the exhaust

With my 2.5" VRS kit I am running a 4x20 resonator and the Magnaflow 6" round muffler. I think the car sounds pretty good, not raspy, but it is too loud on the interstate.

running hotshot. dont know what gen but it has the 2" dp.

I didn't read every post but a long resonator wont hurt your performance (that's noticeable) and it will help that raspy sound you have.
