Installed new injectors, now Im not getting any fuel in at all...
I had an injector die on me last friday, so I went ahead and bought some new style injectors from Miko and installed them tonight. All 4 injectors ohm'd out fine (all between 11.9-12.2) and Im getting spark. The Plugs dont smell at all like gas, and there isn't any present on the plugs. The only time I could get it to "turn over" at all was by adding ~10cc of gas to every cylinder with a syringe and then cranking. NO fuel at all is getting into any of the cylinders which makes me think the injcetors arent getting a signal to fire, as opposed to a dead fuel pump which would still theoretically allow fuel to squirt until air became present in the lines and lost all pressure.

Everything has been looked over repeatedly, and I actually ended up pulling the manifold twice and reinstalling, just to be sure I didnt miss anything the first time around.

What would cause the Injectors not to fire? Bad TPS ? dead fuel pump?

Help! This is my DD and I'm struggling to figure this...

Got them plugged up right? Also made sure there are no problems with the injector harness?

Try installing stockers back and see if those work fine .

Does the pump turn on? Have you taken off the line from the filter and see if fuel squirts out when cranked/or ignition is turned on.

I also just had this problem, bought some VE injectors from a dude in west palm beach, 3 out of four injectors were locked up. Tried to unlock em' but to no avail. Had to swap in some 370's on a GA16DE :/

I have not checked fuel pressure in the feed line yet.

I cant imagine all the injectors are locked up, especially since they came from Andreas Miko.

Could a bad injector harness ground be the culprit?

Im thinking Injector harness ground is jacked up. I had to relocate some lines and regrounded the engine bay. I have a feeling those grounds for the inj harness NEED to be directly where they are on the manifold.

Tisk Tisk, Intake Manifold is the best ground on the car. That's where the ECU grounds are.

Another thing to keep in mind is, don't do two major mods at once, install injectors, turn on the car, if it works then go rewiring .

Bobby12many, please give me a call. There is one major thing that will stop injs from firing.

Thats would be the dist going bad or the exhasut cam cracking.

The exhaust cam makes the dist fire which causes the injector to fire.

So if you leave the key to on postion take out the dist and turn the the dist it will cause the injs to fire.

Its easy to find the problem but you will need another person for help.

Start with the injs which I know are fine, give them direct power from the battery, make a little inj plu harness and listen for them to click.

Then get a noid light and see if the harness is getting power by having someone swing the key.

Then take off the fuel line coming from the filter and swing the key to see if fuel is coming out.

THanks so much Andreas. I will ring u tonight if i cant pinpoint the issue using the info you have just given me. I have a feeling it is an issue with my relocated ground for the inj harness, as the car started and ran easily on 3 cyl before i swapped injectors. The only thing that has changed since, aside from the new injectors is the ground location for one of the 2 inj harness grounds.

Nissan guys are the best!

The injectors dont have a harness ground, they ground through the ecu. There is grounds for other components in the system like the ecu, the distro, the ignitor and so on.

Did you take the rail out to change the injectors, if you did i bet you hooked your fuel lines up backwards.

Just make sure your main grounds are good. As those grounds are very important as well, the ones attaching to the intake manifold.
