Agree. Do not get an aftermarket starter (or alternator). You want OEM only. Used like Miko has if you need to save a bunch of money.

Thanks for the tip, but I already got it and put it in the car. I need it in a hurry. The B14 is the one I use to go to work.

About aftermarket stuff, may be you are right, but they give you lifetime warranty. Also, like I said, I had to get one fast.

I know aftermarket alternators suck! But I have to say that I bought an aftermarket starter for my B13 from Pepboys 8 years ago and still works good(knock on wood)

Now, the bad news, I need a knock sensor for the B14
