Thread: P11 LSD: Installed!

ZOMG. I don't know how I EVER lived without one! No torque steer, and spinning tires like no tomorrow! It feels so much better! The clutch pedal is even effortless, with an ACT XT and 6 puck sprung! EVEN BETTER: Cruising at 60MPH and not even at 3krpm!!! I can now cruise on the highway at 65mph and still be under 3krpm! SUPER!

Good for you I cant wait to get a hold of one cause my B13 tranny is whinning like crazy now :-(

Welcome to the LSD club. Im using the 99 P11 gears in the trans i have now so its got the longer 3rd, 4th, and 5th compared to the b13/b14 trans. But here is a little vid just easy shifting so i dont break the gears spinning 2nd, 3rd, and 4th flyby the camera right at 130mph, This was 30psi of boost on C16.

Also did a pull through 5th just to see how my a/f and where i was hitting full boost at. 29.2 lbs of boost at 5k rpms's And it still tried to rip the tires loose in 5th as it very very quickly pulled to 160mph.

Congrats again Cliff. Yeah the torque steer with no lsd is very very annoying.

Meh. I sold my brand new P11t gearbox. I like the good old regular box! Ive only broken one so far and it was 4th gear. It alread had 5th gear pop out though si it was time to swap. Congrats though. I prob will regret selling mine eventually.

We get the point. Your car can do 4th gear burnouts....
