1: Highport or Lowport
2: Regular or RollerRocker

Highport is earlier models, lowport is later (someone can fill in the year gaps as my brain has shut off)

RollerRocker came in specific vehicles.

Methods to identify this stuff can be found by searching the forum.

Weird i have seen it on the n14 91+ motors and n15 95+ and my ve.

Dont have a picture but the alloy housing thats on the uppr LHS of the block that the top radiator hose goes to... right there the stamp is finger tip sized...

My block had a stamp "97" on it. I can't recall where exactly since it's been a while, but I do no for a fact that it couldn't have been far off, considering my car's a 98 and was actually assembled in late 1997.

Anyhow, post a picture and we'll tell you whether it's a lowport/highport/etc.

Here's a picture of the block that was pulled from my SE-R. The stamp was on the rear of the motor. I know that doesn't help you much...

Upper left hand portion on the starter "bracket"
