Thread: a lil help pls a tranny question

check this out i went down south atlanta 2 run so one . wen we started in first gear and went i threw it in 2 second gear i just spun then i went 2 throw it in third gear and my shifter woulden leave 2nd gear so i pulled over and tryed 2 get it out of gear and it wont leave sencond gear for sh!t . its stuck in second ... do any one know what could cause it 2 be stuck in second gear ?

the clutch works when u push it in right?

yea the cluch works fine i can drive it and every thing just that it wont come out of second gear

any help?????

You check underneath the car yet? Check the shift linkage for binding, check the rear motor mount, etc.

ok i found ans fixed it it was the rear mount the broke and cuased the shiftlikiage 2 be stuck on the rackinpion
