SR20VET Turbine 5 Bolt Flange Mod
Below are some pictures of a modification I did to the SR20VET Turbine housing to allow for the use of the Avenir or Bluebird Jpipe elbow since the stock SR20VET Jpipe will not work, enjoy.

Just a bunch of various pics of the process

It's a shame Nissan felt they had to make different bolt patterns and flanges for all these parts. No doubt it was to prevent the wrong parts from being installed at the dealership during repairs, but it really does ruin the LEGO factor.
Great job and nice pics. =D

FYI cause I've heard statements made that the SR20VET was ball bearing and i'm here to tell you the at least the 14411-8H600 is not ball bearing and that's the part number tag on the above SR20VET turbo it has the 4 bolt pattern on the inlet side of the turbine housing where the CHRA connects whereas the ball bearing units have a 6 bolt pattern just like the S14 S15 and the W11 ball bearing turbo's do.

The turbo is a GT2560S (non-ball bearing)

I also compared the SR20VET manifold to that of my GTi-R and there's good reason not to use a SR20VET manifold on a SR20DE or SR20DET and the reason is unequal port spacing namely and oddly only due to cylinder #4 being inboard to the tune of ~5mm that's huge

These pics are showing that the SR20VET manifold has unequal port spacing so that is showing that a VET manifold shouldn't been run on a DE or DET, thats all

After further investigating it appears to be correctable I'm gonna go ahead and port match cylinder #4 and you also have to oblongue cylinder #4 top mounting thru hole towards the drivers side about 1/8" or else the manifold wont bolt onto the DE DET head, other than that i feel pretty secure about the rest of the ports matching up side to side and up and down wise.
