Make your own? MotoIQ had a thing on how to make your own silicone hoses/pipes out of silicone tape. Looked super easy.

i'll have to look into that.. i bought a nice piece to use but it wasn't flexible enough ended up using a ga16 lower rad hose.

Have at least 6" of straight before MAF so that it doesn't see turbulence, MAF doesn't care about the bends after it passed through the MAF. Keep in mind though, sharp turns do hurt flow and velocity, which is important too.

Try to get a smaller battery that is sealed or gel and lay it on its side,then get a s intake pipe which would then place the air filter and MAF on top of the slim battery. Get a small odyssey or kinetic battery and battery tray. This will solve your problem and it will clean up the engine bay

Another battery placement idea is in again a small gell one and cut a hole in the bumper support to store the battery.. still up front and farther over the front tires for added traction
