Destroying Clutches for some reason
So i've had my car running now for about a year and half. I had a comp clutch 4puck sprung disc that i blew after about 2000 miles. Popped 3 springs out, tore it all apart and called comp. They warrantied it out and sent back a whole new 6puck unsprung kit. I put that in and no issues other than after awhile the TOB started being load as hell again. (happened with the 4puck aswell) So on thursday driving, go to shift out of second at about 4k rpm and bam car starts vibrating like crazy and nothing. Pull it apart again and now i have seperated the clutch from the hub.
This is at a t25 and stock cams, not making a terrible amount of power. So now i need ANOTHER clutch. hopefully tranny is ok.

Any suggestions on why this could keep happening? Don't want to put it all back together only to take it out yet again.

Was thinking about just getting an ACT disc and using the CC pressure plate. and possible aluminum flywheel, new clutch cable, and a tranny saver bracket

Do you have the two alignment dowels in place? Do you have the transmission/engine spacer in place?

A bit off topic, but I'd recommend a full faced clutch for a T25 setup. How much torque are you making?

no the dowels are missing now that you bring that up and i go look. Spacer is in place though.

I would go full faced but i'm not sure how long i will stay on the t25. May go 2871 or possibly HTA FP Green setup.

Not sure on WHP or TQ. It's a enthalpy tuned ECU with built motor and everything but cams. If i had to guess i'm around 220tq 250whp

go with a full act set up.

skip the fp green, they suck imo. my 718r would desimate them.

i'm skeptical about ACT cause i've popped springs out on my old maxima. And stripped the splines out of a 6puck on the sentra!

BTW you still running the P11 you bought from me? Wish i still had it i would put it in!

put the dowel pins in an you wont have so many issues.. they are there for a reason..

hmmm i do but i dont really want to sell them just incase i may need them.. ask greg v if he can get you some or maybe someone else will chime in that has some

Worst case just go to the junk yard...prolly cost more to get in then buy the pins....and yes you do NEED them =)

problem is with junkyard i would have to pull the tranny to get them!
