Did you notice a loss of oil pressure? did it happen during a pull?

Did you hear the bearings knock? If not, you are probably ok. I ran an SR20 dry of oil a few years back and it took about 20 miles of ass-whoopin to seize the engine lol.

it didnt seize the engine, It definitely is struggling to crank over, I think it may just be main bearings that gave. It happened during my run vs the Mazworx GTIR. Pounded the 10k limiter hard in 2nd and 3rd then 4th gripped and started to take off. I just looked down after I felt it bog and heard the noise and no pressure.

More than likely the crank is done for, mains are done for and hopefully didnt damage the main journals to the point it needs a line hone. Maybe 1 rod bearing as the knock was loud but it was a weird loud knock so it may have just been the crank. I think it may have bent the crank whatever happened or its seizing on the main bearings.

Glad you did work Ashton... 149mph is nothing to shake a stick at... that's the fastest I've ever seen a fwd SR go...

It will be back and will definitely get that 9. I have everything but the bearings to get it back to 100%

Hopefully it's not that bad Ashton, it would be a shame for you not to hit the 9's this year.

and pump, but look at it this way, u have pretty much everything, its not like u rod poked thru the block and sack tapped the turbo which cause the compressor wheel to give ur intercooler a blow out which over heated and jelloed ur pistons which melted onto the crank which made it do the crank walk. its a walk in the park once u get in there

Congrats on the stellar showing this weekend Ashton including the fastest FWD SR20 award. Don't let the breakage get you down. I bet it feels really good to get back home and relax and not be so rushed anymore. Enjoy the down time, good luck on your next stint abroad, and I know you will come back swinging.
