Being its the beginning of the race season I can see them being very busy, still they should at least do what they need to do to get me a slot. Ive been trying to get a slot since January.

I have a feeling if they take your car they prob won't be done in time for the convention. Better go with plan B.

Ash.. If their customer service sucks, which it does I have seen multiple emails of them blowing you off.. the latest from the 10th, saying they would hit you up that night and sorry they forgot about you.. then once again they forgot and havent responded since. I would not trust them with my business, its obvious its not run the right way and who knows what will happen to the car when it is there.

Pay a little more and have someone else do it. Let them start on the car now vs waiting till you get back.

Ok so Turbo Elements finally got back with me with a date. Week of May 21st I have an opening which works perfect. Again biggest reason I wanted to use them was their work quality, biggest was their price was far cheaper than anywhere else ($1400 vs $1700+ from every other place). The timing works out great because I should be able to have the car done, dyno tuned, and dialed in at the track the week/weekend prior to that date. It will be done in time for the convention.

So thats a relief.

Hey Ashton were did you get the ARP wheel studs from? And are those the ones for my b13? Englishtown raceway is anal about that with slicks on your car.

Ebay,

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

The knurl on them is the perfect size for installing new studs in an old hub. The sentra ones from what ive read tend to be too small and cause issues with the stud spinning.

The tracks ive gone to never cared about having extended studs with slicks. The rules are as long as the stud protrudes out of the open end nut that its fine. Ive never had to run spacers with my slicks so a regular open end nut has always had the threads of the stock studs come protrude through. So they didnt care if they wernt extended.

Some pics from the current stuff done. Got the old motor pulled out and dissasembled. Everything even the original 16k miles of torture main bearings were in great shape. CP's are tough pistons. As bad of detonation that i had the last time out at the track when fuel pressure dropped the pistons had no detonation damage at all. The rings were a little scored from it and from the pieces of the ground straps bouncing around in the cylinder a bit.

Anyways made some good progress with the wifeys help yesterday and this morning. Ill be back at it assembling the new bottom end later today. Much more pics to come.

Compressor housing painted bronze.

Trans cleaned and painted wrinkle black.

Golden eagle B-Series fuel rail and ID2000's installed onto the BMC Race manifold.

And my turbo manifold port matched to the VE gasket.

More to come.
