Afr goes rich or lean after warm up is depends on the Air density correction table .. less dense ( less oxygen ) if the intake air is hot, if the injected amount of fuel is not adjusts according the rising air temperature..of cause you will getting richer reading ... thats why people invent cold air intake

Grabbing the ecu today, very soon actually. It'll either be a stock ecu or a JWT but either way if my calum is the issue I'll know tonight. I took my truck today So my car will be ready to swap ecus and turn key when I get home.......

Correction: the stock ecu is the one he gave me to use. It's a stock JDM Avenir ecu. On one hand, cool. On the other hand, USDM coolant sensor. Ugh :-/

He had mentioned a b14 ecu. I think he gave me that one by mistake. The bolt wouldn't thread in and even still, the car wouldn't even start. It cranked and cranked but that's it. Stay tuned, sigh.....

Thanks liljay. I may take you up on that. Just talked to him and he swears it was the b13 ecu. I tried for like 20 min and that bolt would not thread. Soon as I gave up the bolt zipped right back into my ecu. A stock usdm ecu won't run my car but it should atleast attempt to idle....IF my idle issue is the ecu.

I know what'll fix it...I need some gasoline and just one match!!!

A b14 ecu will not plug into a b13 harness, the problem with using a jdm ecu is making sure the maf, CTS match the ecu.

I understand about the CTS and MAF scenario but I figured it'd still at least try to idle if my issue is in fact my ecu.....

I just googled the serial number on the ecu: w10 Avenir. Well why won't it thread into my harness then???

This ecu:
23710 95N11
A18-C58 Y53

My results are an Avenir W10, correct?

dont even waste your time with a jdm ecu will confuse you even more.

Do you have a burner and chips you can burn?

i dont see how the screw would be different, i've never had any issues swapping ecus around, just make sure you dont cross thread it.

try starting without the maf or cts plugged in an see if that helps, but if your seriously tryin to trouble shoot an idle problem, not using the right sesors isn't going to help anything.

Morgan, no.

Lynch, I've tried starting without many things plugged in.

But yea, this ecu definitely wouldn't thread. My ecu threaded right back in after I was done fighting.
