your on crack if you think your getting a good quality manifold for $400, I would say $600 for that piece would be reasonable.

You dont need the iacv just crack the throttle open a little.

I think we could talk about manifold specs all year long. Maybe that would be productive. Maybe not.

At the end of the day, the ease of installation, the engine bay clearance, ability to re-use factory items like side-feed fuel rails and idle control valves and throttle bodies, and the dyno proven power output are what most of us are after.
A smaller amount could probably do without the ease of installation and ability to re-use factory stuff.
I guess it's a matter of how many you want to sell, and at what margin.

Dyno a "stock" setup we're used to seeing like a T25 setup and show us the gains we can expect. Or dyno a GT30 setup if you want to get more realistic for your target audience. Or maybe you're aiming it more towards the bigger snail guys?

We can talk about inlet taper angle, runner length, plenum size/shape until the cows come home. Really the point is to make power, so just show us the numbers. Can we even really talk price without at least an estimate of power potential?

Those Hypertune manifolds do look like they mean business and I'm sure the price reflects that. They include the water jacket provision and work with at least one of the factory idle control valves.
They won't work with side-feed injectors or rail though. =/

Certainly they've got an attention to detail and overall good-looking design. You couldn't charge more than them. =]

I would say $600 tops for the price if you want enough interest. We are cheap, so anything above that will be harder to sell, and only a few dedicated folks will buy. Why? Because the $ per WHP is just not worth it. It's a lot easier for people to just crank up the boost.

Vadim manis like thos provide huge gains threw out the powerband without raising boost. If optimizes the set up big time.

I got my manifold on ebay, the fwd version with the q45 throttle body for 410 to my door. The gains on my t3 were easily noticable. My everyday boost level of 20psi felt like 24psi before on the stock intake manifold and throttle body.

As for quality. There were minor issues but at the end of the day it worked just fine. I had to clean up the weld at the stock runners some as there was a nasty lip in there. Easy enough with a metal cutting bit and a drill. The other was the clearance of the driver side bolt on the intake manifold that is really long on the highports. Easy enough as well. Other than that the gains were there. It still looks good, has velocity stacks, a good size volume plenum that clears the firewall just fine, retained the factory idle air control valve with some modifications and the welds and construction are pretty good as they have stood up to 30psi on the t67 H.O. I know its better than a stock manifold and throttle body thats for sure. Almost anything and ive seen some crappy looking manifolds get dyno tested in the past 10 years and all of them with a good size throttle body usually Q45 dyno 25-35whp more than the stock on a t3 turbo. Some made 20 on t25's and t28's.

So the key to this community is the price tag and as long as it looks nice and is made well and has a good plenum volume, clears the firewall and other stuff, and retains idle air control, is the key to selling well in our community. Hell I many not have bought an o2 induction manifold or some other $1000 manifold but it does the job and it kept all that stuff i mentioned.

PS: Raised velocity stacks to not cause a hinderance in the plenum. Thats not how air flow in there works. lol.

Pics of mine

Installed w/ topfeed rail

Installed w/ side feed fuel rail

Yes the guy can do them for ve's.

nissan sr20 intake manifold for sunny , pulsar gti-r - eBay (item 280622453204 end time Feb-27-11 20:56:13 PST)

Again I know it is from Tailand but the guy is super responsive the the emails and the shipping is fast as hell. After i ordered it, it took him 2-3 days to get it finished up to my liking and shipped it off and it was to me in 3 days after shipped. The guy can build it to go on whatever you want, VE,DE,Q45 TB, N1 Throttle body, whatever. Idle air control, no idle air control, throttle cable bracket or no throttle cable bracket. I opted for none on mine as i didnt know how i wanted to mount the throttle body. He can put them on for you but i think he will request a measurement of where it needs to be from the throttle body flange or the connection to the throttle wheel. Or you can get it without and have it done when it gets to you.

Again it came out to 410 or so shipped and im not complaining. He could probably do runner lengths for you if you wanted as well. Just ask.
