Much better times coming very soon. I wanna hit 12s on street tires.

? my car doesnt have weight reduction besides AC and power steering lines, pump is in the car, and i dont have spare tire or jack, i have a bigger turbo then yours but running much less boost as well

i can agree with you somewhat coheed, but true that a gtir setup will not come close here where we live

I think your problem is that with the power you're making, it will be hard to get the traction you need on street tires. When you go to the next level in power you have to step up on tires to. My car ran 12.6s with street tires with a stock pulsar motor cranked up to 16 pounds but i was only making 286 whp. After a few upgrades it was hard to hook. Put slicks on now it runs high 11s. Get some good tires drive it right and you'll see good times. The first 60 ft. normally effects the outcome of the 1/4 mile unless you're a top fuel guy.

HAHA! Well I went to the track again. Best time was again, 13.3. Even on 24psi I could not break that time, the tires simply would not let me. The new suspension made it harder to keep traction too. Oh well. Next year it will be slicks and low 11s hopefully if the axles don't snap off.

Andy, next year will be the faceoff. Bring your slicks and I will bring mine. Lets run em haha. It should be fun. My power/weight should put me in the low low 11s with slicks, but I am a crappy driver when it comes to drag racing. I will be at miller as well, hopefully running at GT live next year.

Don't give up.Come back with your slicks nextyear & have some fun.
Your axles should hold up just fine.

New mph was about the same as always. around 115mph. Didn't matter how much boost I did I couldnt break 120mph with these tires. It is impossible. Last time I ran at this track the datalog showed 117mph, and that was on 15psi. I took a couple mph off to be conservative, this track doesn't have a speed trap.

The more boost I did the harder the pull in 3rd and 4th, but the less traction in 1st and 2nd. My trap speeds based on my power should put me in the 125 area, zo6 vettes do that easy and I pull on them pretty hard from a roll. It's all about the launch, which is very hard to do in this car.

Once you get the slicks on there you'll be happy.I gave up
on drag racing with street tires because of traction issues
on high boost.
