How do I know which springs are front and rear? (B13)
Which springs go on the front and which ones go on the rear? This is for a B13 SE-R.

Got these springs when I purchased my 2nd B13, they came uninstalled. I think they are Whiteline springs, which are sold by JGY from what I can tell. I don't know anything about them other than they were installed on the car at one point and the previous owner didn't like how they rode. Also said he didn't like all the related suspension issues. Anyways, I got some new struts and I'm gonna try these springs out. Just need to know which ones are which.

Sometimes they might be labeled real small on the spring, I'm not familiar with these but my *guess* is the taller ones are rear, thicker are the front

Measure the thickness of the metal. The thicker one usually goes on the front. Just make sure you flip them around so the spring tail faces down when you install them.

So I have the springs upside-down in the picture? I need to find my dial caliper...

Another thing that might help is usually the fronts are wider then the rears. The rears are also longer then the front.

Are u also sure they are for a b13? Is another question to ask. The reason I say this is because the width of the rears go from smaller at top and increases as it goes down to the base of the strut.

Positive they are for a B13. They came with the car and were previously installed.

Then being b13 springs the taller ones are usually rears but just like "hammerin hank" had said double check with the thickness of the metal to be 100% sure
Hope that helps

Yes, I think you guys are correct, the taller ones are rear and shorter is front. Shorter ones are definitely thicker under close inspection. Now which way do they need to be flipped, do I have them upside-down in the picture?
