Weird steering problems
I just replaced the front lower control arms, new bushings and balljoints.

Car drove fine for about a week and then I started noticing a problem and now it's getting worse and worse.

When you accelerate the steering wheel is straight, when you let off the gas and engine brake the wheel turns right almost a 1/4 of a turn! But the car goes straight (with a slight pull to the right).

Any ideas on what to check? It absolutely sucks driving on uneven roads...

I used to have a similar problem, mine did that but when I was on the freeway any bumps or anything the car would throw toward the right almost dangerously. I ended up replacing tie rod ends, ball joints and control arms bushings etc. Replaced stabilizer bar ends and got new tires and an alignment.

My alignment was 300% off on 1 wheel. Id recommend getting an alignment done. My car is driving smooth again.

+1 on the alignment.
Get that done first before yo start tring to figure it out.
The alignment guys should be able to find any other worn parts too.

LOL I figured it out.

The balljoint castle nut was working itself loose on the drivers side.

I broke one leg of the cotter pin when I replaced the arms, but now I put new cotter pins on both sides so it shouldn't happen again.
