Strut bars with Ground control plates
I have a cusco tower strut bar for my b13 but if I use Ground control plates up front what option for tower strut bars do I have, Other than that huge overkill piece. Would I have to make something custom?

Shigspeed used to make adapters to mount a strut bar to the GC plates. I don't think he makes them anymore though.

Yea you basically need to get a special strut bar. Ball and socket type. Converting the cusco is not possible because it has no end-links to unscrew for the conversion.

If I remember correctly Grassrootsmotorsports mounted the one on their Project SE-r under the Ground Control plates but I think it was just an e-bay bar.

You need a Stillen Strut Bar to use with the GC'S. Also try Shig on the other forum, he was trying to sell some things and his car. Maybe..just maybe he can make you a set.

Stillen's mounts do not fit under the GC plates. ANY strut bar that uses flat mounting brackets will work with the GC plates.

There are the adapters that bolt the bar to the side of the plates.
