Is this pass. axle salvageable? WITH PIC!
Pulled a passenger axle from the local u-pull yesterday. Noticed it when i pulled it off, but originally didnt care because I was going to use it as an exchange for an Autozone reman. one. But now I've got to thinking: is there a way to get a new boot on, and save this axle?

It looks like the outer shaft was pulled out of the CV joint and caused suction to pull in the boot. You can just cut the large strap, separate the joint, inspect the bearings, refill with fresh axle grease and tighten down a new strap.
