More power?
Hi,

My almera n15 GTI is currently running +-169.bhp with these mods:
Timing 18*
4-2-1 header
1.2mm head skim (11,2:1 compression)
K&N filter
Catcams 1600512 (http://www.catcams.co.uk/acatalog/1600512.pdf)



I also run full 2.5" system front to back with 2 freeflow simons dampers.
And currently building good CAI system like the Injen one.

But i really want to see if i can get somewhere around 200bhp.
Are there any mods i can do to achieve those numbers?

Maybe other cams or something.

chuck the rr out, buy a ve.add n1 cams,23-24"primary 4-1's headers,ported xcessive intake and q45t/b, some good engine management.

i know that would be ideal, but cant affort that sadly.

probably you need a bigger cams with higher lift /catcams with 298°, maybe porting / polishing head, good TRI-Y headers

Nothing wrong with a RR engine. Not a damn thing wrong with a Roller Rocker SR20.

If you want 200whp+ on a rr with a small budget....nitrous.

Doesn't he want 200 bhp, that is what 160~170whp? Should be comfortably doable on the RR. Compression is ok at 11.2 could be higher with tuning. Definitely headwork, dial in the cams as he's shaved the head, a JDM type intake or custom if he can make it himself. Some decent headers or just el cheapo SSAC. Some type of tunable ECU (nismotronic or nistune) would probably give biggest gains with what he has right now.

EDIT: Nevermind, I didn't see he was referring to BHP not WHP
