Btw, given the whp and tq figures, the dyno you are going at seems to be reading low. Isnt Jamie about an hr away? Id go over to him if he was, well worth it. We have had guys drive from naples and ft myers drive to miami, which is a 2-3hr drive to tune with gio because they rather apend the cash once and if the car has any issues it is found right then and there, no need to keep going back and forth.

IJS, if Jamie is 3hrs or less away, id visit him. A good tuner can do some magic, and Jamie has got some good wizadry going on.

The known problems here Dyno max muffler, obx header 2'',tune..... that header is not even good enough to flow stock cams what makes you think it would flow Tomie 270° drop ins?... you might be guessing on the cams , so why not pop the valve cover and measure the lobes with a micro meter and get back to us with the specs? I see a additional 15 hp once your change all of those things up...

Well the thing is, I wasn't looking to spend a ton of money on this car. I already have a VE. Those big headers are expensive like 800 bucks. The eBay OBX ones are like 150.

It's too late for that, the minute you bought the first mod your committed to now making it all work. It's a daily...like you said... If I had a 206 hp Ve the focus would be on that not the de... everything possible has been already done with de and there is no longer any surprises... so why screw up the MPG's and reliability on the daily? Shit by the time you sell off the mods you might have enough for another VE for the daily....

Sell the cams and through in high port cams. Leave everything else the way it is and drive it. Spend the money from the cams to fix/upgrade your VE.

Well the car came with an intake and coilovers when I bought it, and then the crank pulley separated, so I Installed the Gspec one. Then I got a cheap OBX header, then the Tomei cams popped up for cheap.... and so it goes.... couldn't stop.

It happens to the best of us. but you have to keep your goals in mind. If this is a daily then keep it that way. I have urges to buy stuff for my daily but i always go back to it needs to be reliable and good on gas so i leave it alone. If things need to be replaced at some point, i might through a performance few parts at it but not until then. Every penny i do not spend on my daily i can put into my P10.

I got the car for a good price, and as I said it had a few mods on it. I didn't plan on doing anything. But I noticed the stock header was rusted and crappy, and the heatshield was falling off. So I saw the eBay header was like 150 bucks. The last time I had bought a header for an SR20 was a hotshot that was like $450. It seemed like a great deal. I already had the Sentra VE. I wanted a B14 again since I had one back in like 2004 (98 Sentra SE) - I just got a JWT ECU and dropped the Tomei cams in, I didn't tune anything. Again, I got the cams for like $200 and last time I got cams they were $595 or something from JWT. The mods all seemed so much cheaper now, 8 years later, I just had to do it. Well didn't have to, bt you know. So after I had the VE dynoed and was pleased with the numbers, I went to the dyno again to see what the DE was making. It doesn't feel 138hp slow. But I dunno.

It's my daily driver, but I have 3 other cars. I just made this thread because well, it was weird to see low dyno numbers. I think the dynojet I took it too was accurate because its the same one the Sentra VE made 206hp on, and that's what the Sentra VE made on another dyno, and it made 196 on a mustang dyno etc.

te pirate, I'm not really sure what you're asking

im asking wot the car revs to and were on your dyno sheet is peak power.......the reason i ask is the cams you say you have are prity much a full race cam and intendid for 8+000rpm redline if your tune dosnt alow for you to rev past stock then I imagine your not getting the full potental out of your setup, mi sr20 autech pulsar lived at 8000rpm and loved it, mi current setup has a 8000rpm redline tune yet the cams dont make power up their, yours should with the size of those cams
