Thermostat Needle Comes and Goes?
I've got an interesting problem, and i dont know even how to start attacking it. I let my car warm up fully, needle goes up to about a 1/4 on most days, a little higher when its warmer.

I step on the gas, needle drops off, COMPLETELY. Like it's not even working.

But when i step off the gas, brake slightly, or come to a complete stop, the needle comes back up again.

I almost blew my head gasket when i had a coolant leak, but had no idea cuz my needle is going crazy . I thought I could just drive with it, but not anymore. Anyone have any ideas?

BTW I need new engine mounts. I dunno if that might have something to do with it.

It's probably your sensor, you should check it out and make sure it's working right.

make sure that the wire isnt broken where that connector goes in the sensor .... i had the issue like a month ago and it was cause the wire was only being held by the insulation of the wire and the wire was brokn internally ... if thats fine most likely its the sensor

There should have been a bunch of other stuff not working if it was that fuse.
