B13 78E DE S4 N60 Marsh Tuned
Just got the SE-R tuned yesterday by Jamie SR20GTiR, and she's a strong one!

Setup as follows:
78E Highport w/ JDM intake, all stock internals.
JWT S4 cams
Outlaw Thermo Spacers
N60 MAF
VE intake tube
JWP POP charger
K&N filter
UR crank, PS, WP pulleys
SSAC header
Stock cat
HKS Sport Exhaust 60mm
Jun Chromoly flywheel
NGK PFR6G11 plugs
Calum Realtime
And most importantly, nice cushy stock engine mounts, and fully functional air conditioning.

The 78E's were in normally aspirated AWD cars, and have similar (the same?) upper and lower oil pans as DET's, to clear the AWD tranny. I'm not sure 78E's are all 10:1, but I've seen some threads saying they are.

I think the initial pull was 141hp, and by the time Jamie finished tickling the keyboard, he pulled 159.8 out of it. He said it's one of, if not the strongest 'stock' DE's he's had on his dyno, and that makes me one happy camper.

I'm more than satisfied, and just wanted to give a big thumbs up to Jamie for his time and talent. It's nice to have a guru like him to take care of tuning my car.

Very nice. Numbers seem about right and on the healthy side for the setup. Good deal, very simple setup.

Good results. Must be fun to drive, especially with that quiet HKS exhaust.

I love the idea but I can barely hear it. The car is so killer though DEs are the VE of 2011.

Thanks guys. The car pulls so nicely from gear to gear, that it makes the Miata tuning feel like a truck.... well at least smoothness wise.

I really could use some positive manifold pressure though, and have everything needed just waiting on the shelf. Maybe it'll be boosted come next Spring, and if so, I'll head back up to Jamie to get it retuned.

I'm with you on the exhaust Benny, it's literally silent from the driver seat, the only thing I can hear is the intake. And the kicker is that Linus had a 2.5" VRS on the car, and sold it to my buddy Mark for $100! I could cry.

I'm going to swap my test pipe in for the cat, and see how it sounds. I don't expect any more HP from it, but I need at least a little sporty coming out the back of the car.
