What's goin on guyz, so since we r talking intake manifolds I have a 91 nx motor in my b13 and it has minor bolt on.I can't really afford to do a nice set up on the car rite now but I'm taking it step by step. It very simple, k&n filter,headers,2.5 exhaust, stage 3 xtd clutch, block off egr and parts to put on gti-r intake cam,jgy lightweight flywheel, lightweight pulleys. My question is will I gain any power with a JDM intake manifold and I was thinkin of getting a msd 6al later on. Any advice on a all motor DE BUDGET build will b gladly appreciated.thanks.

i have seen one person mod a ve mani to fit a de but with all that time and money he might as well installed a ve. i had my RR head and mani plish and ported at a decent price to save the hassle on wiring issues. good luck.

Damn, ve ports are huge by comparison, and yes, that's what she said.

Id just buy a ve personally. Its cake to install. Wire a MAF in and change the idle control plugs.(purple and brown plugs) Takes 10 minutes. Water lines are cake and isnt no hassle. Just takes a lil common sense. You'd have more money into the de than ve. Plus the ve would be stock and making good power. VE it. Save your money and buy one.
