you are misinformed the regular s3 cams have been run in pulsar heads my cousin did for years.cams designed for solid lifters in most cases run a more aggressive profile to take advantage of the fact the lifter are solid so in most cases the trade off is the cam opening rate is not as aggressive on a non solid cam. p.s. remember to adjust your valve lash with any cam you put in.
