Also knock the edge off the quench pads that overlap the cylinder. Bevelling them on a 45 takes away hotspots which will bring up detonation under boost. Also makes it safer if you are going to race the engine, sustained load will eventually see this edge burr and pitt and leave small bits of aluminium to burr up and run through the chamber.
