Thread: S4 + JWT ECU (or Calum) anyone run this?

Hi, anyone run S4 + JWT ecu on 10:1 JDM engine? Is it safe?
Im going with S4, SSAC header, JWT WAI, 2.5" exhaust so im looking for ECU. Or had anyone a program for that setup? Calum can burn it and it will be cheaper than JWT.. thanks!

I'd say to run a Calum ECU EASILY the easiest system to get your hands on. PLUS, if there are any future mods, getting it done again is much cheaper than JWT. I have S4 cams on a USDM motor, so I have less compression, but I still have WICKED pull in the motor. When the money comes my way, I'm going with a Calum Real Time myself. Good luck.

Yeah, i think i can go with Calum basic with good S4 program. Im not going with other mods in near (1year?) future.
So only thing is, i need from someone good program for 10:1 JDM (UKDM) with S4 cams, SSAC 2.5" header, 2.5" exhaust and JWT WAI.. anyone? Pleeease.

Get yourself a stock spare ecu for your car and Calum can program the ecu for what you need. Tell him what you have an d see how much it'd be for the ecu. I think he might even have the ECUs that you can buy straight away.

But what ive read, Calum dont had a regular maps for S4 setup..

i'm runnin 10:1 crower stage 2 and a calum it pulls nice

Nobody with S4 program??

old setup was 10:1 motor, S4 cams, pulleys, lightened flywheel, stg4 clutch, Gti-R T28 kit with Spearco front-mount, 3" turbo back, Z32 MAF, 72lb side feed injectors, JWT ECU.

Made almost 259whp at a stock 7psi. Highest that we know of in the South Florida area.

There was a bad thermostat that led to the overheating demise of the motor (headgasket)....I still have the motor in storage and plan to rebuild it !

We then ran the same setup on a DE motor and got 251whp at the 7psi.

P.S. we where going to upgrade to a Calum Realtime ECU but the car was stolen before we had a chance,

I am running a calum basic with S4 cams, runs good.

2dr_sentra: But you are turboed now, right? What ECU program was used, when you were N/A? What AFR you get? I dont want to run rich or lean.
