Thread: SSAC dimensions

I'm just curious to hear from other people about their exhausts....

I bought an SSAC clone and it has 1 7/8" primaries. I thought it would be good for my set-up, but I think they are too big. It has 2.5" outlet, but I am wondering what the primary diameters are on other peoples headers.

what kind of setup do u have that you want smaller primaries then the 1 7/8 ssac?

On paper, 1-3/4" is a better choice, but from what I've read, the SR20's seem to respond better to bigger tube diameters.

yah thats want i thought to but when you facter in the sr20 love high reving the biger tube make more sence you might onle lose 3 or 4 lbs tq in the lower rpm with 1 7/8 over 1 3/4 but gain more hp from 3000 rpm and up whats the stock demintions? i thank someone said it in anouther thred but i dont remember and i havent messed with mine yet
