Got some stuff done on my car today. Got the old motor out of the car and dissasembled. The crank, rod bearings and original main bearings with 16k miles of torture on them looked perfect. Cant complain a bit. Tomorrow I assemble the new block. The head is at the machine shop getting resurfaced, cleaned, springs and retainers installed, drilled for 1/2 studs and new dowels, drilled and tapped for the hall sensor kit and I also port matched the exhaust ports to the manifold and gasket. Ill be doing the intake side when it gets done.

This weekend as well ill be taking the intercooler, fuel tank, and a couple other items to get the fab work done to them. Moving along nicely. Head should be done middle of the week at the latest.

Does not look like the SR24 or myself will make it to the convention.

Too much work to finish on other cars. Too much waiting for vendors who cant meet deadlines and machine shop delays.

Possible to do but I am not going to rush someone else's build just to get the car there. Shifting focus on getting all the locals prepared. If it comes down to the last week and there is time, I will throw a motor in the 4DR and take it on the road course.

Over the weekend I got more of the COP wiring loomed up, finalized some stuff and found I may have a literal bird's nest in my exhaust from the thing sitting almost the entire winter. Bird poop and even a feather or two are piling up behind the car as I rev it. No joke.

My new wastegate actuator should be shipping out today.

Jamie, you better show up... Or else somebody is getting thrown into a trunk and brought to the convention by force.
