Yeah i remember that car. That car is one of the main ones that got me into the drag racing scene.
Good to know. I know its pathetic that 9.84 is the record and a record set back in like 2002-2003, lol. Thats what being plagued by weak transmissions does to us. I remember seeing a pic he posted of a case completely destroyed with the whole diff being visible on the back side. The rest of the case around it was gone, lol.
This 6 speed trans is very very nice and soo far seeming to hold up and the case itself, i doubt you will be able to do what he did to the 5 speed to this 6 speed, much beefier mount location, no weak design around the mount area, Much much stronger/larger/thicker case period. And if 3rd or 4th gear goes i have the Shep gear option that will take care of that period. Hopefully I can prove it will hold up to 9 second run after 9 second run and hopefully mid to low once everything on the car is dialed in. Its gonna take some work and seat time no doubt but hopefully the trans wont be one of those plaguing problems anymore. 800whp or so will definitely get me to low-mid 9's at well over 150mph.
Chap, cant wait to see your car out there along with many others that have big builds in the works. But yours and Jaimies for sure man, better get em done and out there.
