None of the above mods will change the activation point.
5500-5600rpm is what your car was tuned at for an activation point when it was here in CT.
That's the exact same way I did my last one. I milled it all except for the injector bosses. That way the taper could run all the way to the flange. Looks nice!
Thanks for keeping this alive.
Finally Finally Finally!
Time to give you all hope that this thread isn't over!
Machined flange block for intake to bolt to so I could machine. Kept everything nice and tru while milling.

May have found someone in California that could be a tester or refer a person as a tester. He'll probably post here, but may contact MFactory directly. Cross your fingers! :)
Those are great specs. Only thing I would suggest, is have another slip fit collector for spraying. Probably a 2.75 or 3in choke.
For all motor those specs are money. If you can get it a bit s...
Going back to a DE is the worse advice I have ever read on this forum......
Rebuild and use the opportunity to come back harder.
Maybe an alternative for the cheapos might be buying the PLM collectors if you guys can work a deal with them and design the primaries of your own. Those collectors seem to work well for the PR guy...
This is a centre fed intake manifold Im working on for an N/A VE, currently in mock up stage.
Going to be tight to clear the hood!

That is good information to have. Didnt know they offered them. Must be new. Although what we offer the custom CP Piston price is better price than those. But always good to have options.
Regardless of cost, you'd be bonkers to daily a big cammed DE. They drive like a dog below 3k, where a VE is nice and smooth on the baby cams.
I dont think we should be knocking the DE, it may be ...
Not sure what the debate is here. It has been proven the VE makes more HP and torque than a DE. DE's are very reliable and there are multiples of them out there running at over 200K miles. The VE h...
We have 4.785 and 5.167 final drives for the 32V
We are working on the 32A final drives as well :)
MFactory® Competition Products - Final Drive Gears
Good stuff! Knowledge is power, literally!
No modification to the harness needed.
No difference in installing than a DE.
Chipped ecu's can be had for $150 (hopefully you guys aren't using S4's on a stock ECU)
I am sorry but I can't agree.
The VE is nothing like a "Honda". It in fact makes the same if not more than HP/TQ than your average bolted DE in the lower RPM range.
The dual profile cam shaft...
Happynole's DE was not a normal DE.
It was 50% VE and cost a pretty penny to build. It was interesting to tune as it shared some characteristics of the VE through the power band.
Anyone who c...
VE does not give you torque? Chris you must be mistaken. A VE will out torque a DE all day everyday and lets not mentioned the add TQ when the cams changeover. My VE made 203 whp at 152 ft tq an...
CP Pistons 88mm High Compression Interest
When the quaife gb was run the initial diff's ended up needing additional machining for them to fit, so having someone in the US willing to test is a priority IMO. The initial test fit by one of o...
Did a thread ever get started, I can't see one?
are these in stock or whats the deal there?
How long is this good for? Waiting for tax returns, lol
No not a VVl, just a regular SR20DE RR, with a exhaust manifold from an non-RR engine
The sr16 trans is awesome but it can still break (ask me how I know). The b15 gearing will not be as good for your NA car but it will take a beating. Hope that helps. FYI 6spd gives you the full pa...
