Grand opening of Spokane County Raceway Park
Anyone go tonight or are going tomorrow? I went out there for a few hours tonight and it didnt seem like there was alot of nice cars but there was alot of guys running 15.2 or slower. Seems like the prep is alot better than when orville ran it. Also there was a white 4 door sentra with an sr20 swap in it from idaho. it had stobes in the headlights, just wondering if it was anyone on here. He ran like a 15.3 or 15.4. There was also a bad ass dc2 type r there with a trubo, it ran 11.2 at 126 and beat every other car out there including a procharger powered chevelle that ran an 11.6. Anyway just seeing if anyone else made it out there.

I was out, but left my 240 at home and the Sentra was loaded up with tools and spare parts for my room mates boosted EG, he was done by 7:15. Regardless of the parts and tools we had, we didn't bring a spare tranny, he Sheared quite a few teeth in his tranny launching on slicks with 15 lbs via anti-lag. Unfortunately they quit timing his run by the time the tow truck got him to the end of the track

Yep, that was him, he replaced the tranny and was back out last night cut a 2.1 60' and ran 11.8 on the open diff. I don't know whats his trap speed was, but that was at 17 psi on his 50 trim. Last year he went 11.8 with 1.8 60' and 29 PSI from the 50 trim, but it was completely stock head, now he's got a fully built sohc head on his vitara build and revving to 9000. We're mocking up a Holset this week should be together and tuned on the Holset in 2-3 weeks or less.

No, thats a guy named steve, my room mate has a gunmetal hatch. Here's a vid of his 11.8 this year spinning pretty hard off the line. If you watch closely, you'll see hard spinning til he gets to the end of the k-blocks then seems to get off fine. It looks like the track is coming around well though. Here's his vid:

ya it definitely looks like there is some rubber on the track now, the big boys were out last weekend for the et points opener so theres even more layed down. shouldnt be too many traction issues now.

We need to get a sr group together to go out there as a pack sometime soon. I still need to get my se-r timed this year. I went out weekend before last and broke my pass axle in the box doing my first burnout lol. I want to time it with the new setup
