exhaust question
the b14 that I got had an SSAC 4-2-1 header a, i was told it got a 2inch exhaust and nismo muffler with a 2inch inlet

im planning to get another exhaust and a new header but Im confused what size..

im planing to get a custom tri Y. I know 3 inch exhaust is good for ves if you have the cams and some goodies but I still have a stock one, just plannng to get regular 16ve cams and ecu since this is a daily driver

just want to confirm if 3 inch is not big enough or should i go with 2.75? I will be running ot a the quarter mile maybe occasionaly jus to test it.

since the SSAC is a 2 peice the muffler guy said it needs a new gastket, but I will try to tighten p the bolts....

anyway I checked the pipes and its a teeny weeny 2 inch pipe...and i think the SSAC is also a 2 inch outlet...Im selling the whole system

The header has to have a 2.5" choke (the outlet of the header) I believe, after that 3" all the way.

hmmmm thanks brothers....now I need specs for the new header....

@fastkx125, you mean a 2.5 collector then 3 inch after it?

Unless its custom, 2.5" collector is as big as it goes. From there you'll have to mount it up to the 3"
