N1 cams dyno results
RJ swapped a VE into my NX this week. It is a mostly stock motor with N1's and BC springs/retainers. I have CS gears set at +5/-5. I've got a wai with a Maxima maf, popcharger, stock intake mani and tb. Exhaust is an SSAC 2.5" into a stock cat and then a mandrel 2.5" catback. I also have GSpec crank and wp pullies. Engine management is via a JWT ecu, safc2, and an MSD switch currently set at 5500.

The best pull of today was 193 hp and 152 tq, the lowest was 189 and 149. IIRC the AFR was around 13.5 We will do some tuning in the next week or so, today was a dyno day at Red Star and I wanted to see where we are. I am pleased with the results to say the least.

The best cam setting I have found for the SSAC header is +2.5 In and -2.5 Ex.

If you step up to 3in you should pick up 4-5 WHP.

Nice job.

Thank you, and I'll try different settings when we do the tuning.

at least try them straight up 1st. i had my cams at +5 -5 and i thought the car pulled great. that was untill i removed the cam gears and ran the cams straight up....it was a big difference to me. i never got the chance to dyno....to prove otherwise tho. but try them straight up, then at miko's suggestion...see how that works.
