Has to be sleeves of some sort in there! Not a whole lot of real estate between the cylinders.

how/why so thin, surely they aren't factory sleeves bored to 92

those pistons are very nice, are they shelf pistons you modified your self or were the dimple etc done by cp?

I take it now you've gone to 24mm pin height your going to wow us with a sweet 2.4l build

LOL its actually funny for me who you guys haven't got a clue about sleeves and sleeving a block

The Darton sleeves use by mazworks are just as thin as these, they only have a top skirt that mine dont have. I have welded mine before drilling them.

Mazwork press their sleeves into possition. I heat the block up to insert them.

Nope this is a totally custom pistons machined out of a piece of billet 2618 Alu

The pin height is to get the rod ratio higher for more rpm's!!

8mm on the pin, On this build only 92mm, The new setup will have a 102mm stroke

Wow that's awesome! What is that rs ratio?

Also 102mm you are crazy man! Is this going to be run with a deck plate or jist shortened rods. Man tht is awesome! Is this going to be a cnc billet crank?
