sr20ve issues
im having a very high idle issue at about 15-1700 rpms, also when i turn on the car my fans automatically turn on before the vehicle is even warmed up. any ideas idk where to start looking.

91 ser and i used the harness and sensors from the sr20de

Yeah so either the bin on the chips, the chips themselves, or the ecu is corrupt/bad.

Fans coming on is a safe mode so it narrows it down.

Try ur stock ecu. Mine idles high now when I first start it caz it cold out.About ur fans yea something wrong there.

I wouldn't drive it. It might be ok but there is no way to know what it is actually doing since it is on the fritz.

In limp mode the car will be limited to ~3krpm and run pig rich. Its a limp mode for a reason. Good for limping the car out of a dangerous situation, like motorway breakdown etc.

Yeah the problem you describe is not "limp mode".

The problem is the ecu reading the bin file as I described before. The typical signs are the fans turn on right away and car doesn't run right (ie high idle). I have never seen it go into limp mode with this issue. I have had it happen because of a bad bin file before and bad ecu. I know jer_760 has had it happen due to a corrupt upload of a good bin and other times as well due to bad chips, etc. It isn't an unheard of issue.
