Coheed, something to think about with VET setups is the cam changeover. If you want the most power as soon as you can, you will need to be changing to the big lobes when or before the turbo starts to spool. I get crazy midrange power and faster spool on the big lobes. Yeah, if you kick them in too early you will have a dip in power, but you need to mess with it a bit. I was changing the sr16 cams at 3200rpm to get the best spool. If you are changing the cams at 5000rpm then that is waaay too late.
Try mid to high 3000's. You will have a slight dip down in power for a few rpms, but the turbo will spool faster and the power will pick back up.
