The best shifter is the stock one, just knock the pivot ball up the shaft a bit.
Allows you to retain all the stock hardware keeping a smooth shift, plus its free.
Also if you wrap some tape aro...

just tyrn the motor over by hand yeah, the outer casings of the pulleys can slip as the rubber degrades throwing out the timing marks.

Ignition timing is where you gain power with NA tuning an SAFC will never gain you much.
Was brand new there, I didn't ever use it.
Its since had a new collector put on and shortened a few inches.
