Are you talking about an N/A SR20DE S13 ECU versus an N/A SR20DE B13 ECU? I don't think the tunes are any different, but the ignition system is different (COP versus distributor) so they aren't a direct swap. Same goes for the S14 and S15 engines. They have COP ignition systems, so an ECU swap isn't direct.
If you're talking about a turbo SR20DET S13 ECU versus an N/A SR20DE B13 ECU then the tunes are different, but I wouldn't recommend swapping them.
The RWD SR20DE and FWD SR20DE share the same bore, stroke, compression ratio and have almost identical heads, cams, valves, and minor intake differences. If the tunes aren't almost identical I'd be very surprised. You still have the COP issue though.

Hey Ben, with the S14 ecu and harness do you think it will possible for the fwd crew to convert for COP using only the engine harness off of the S? I would think that the important sensors like the knock, maf, cas, and other actuators must be the same as the fwd sr, I also think that differences in harness would be the extra wires for the ignition module to charge the secondary circuit on the COP. Idk, just throwing stuff out there I guess.
Since when were S13 N/A motors COP ??? All the ones i've seen here (which are jap imports only) are all Dizzy based. Only S15 is COP N/A i thought. Happy to be corrected though, but i always thought only the turbo models were COP.
Also the harness orientation and length is all wrong, there's no radiator fan trigger output as they used a viscous fan on the crank etc etc. Quite a few small differences.
I looked at using one for my 20V motor to retain CAS and COP, but was just going to be more work than i wanted to commit to the project at the time.
