Thread: MAF and OBD1

Long story short, who knew a MAF would cause so many driveability and cold (warm weather) start up problems. I love OBD1 for it's lack of CEL on inspection, but that same lack of CEL had me replacing parts on guesses. Unless a MAF is fried, it will not throw or store a trouble code. Smh.

A MAF has distinct issues when it goes bad, especially when dealing with shitty grounds from Nissan. After a while you just know without a dummy light.
