I think the cable might be unplugged. Because windows would recognize it even if you didn't have the right drivers.

De-staticize yourself (touch something grounded and metal), take the ecu apart carefully and limit what you touch chip wise. Weather is heck of dry (at least here), so can never be too careful.

Hows it going Dave? I think you were my instructor at the Savannah convention a couple years ago. I had the rented Mazda 6.

Hey Will,
I didn't instruct at the convention. Maybe it was Neal, the guy that owns the 240sx in my avatar?

Yeah, that's who it was, figured it was your car.

So the USB cable was totally disconnected in there, thanks Vadim!

I'm now at the point where I need a bin file to load into the ECU, what do the the 370/4bar/bored maf/turbo guys usually do to start out? I have no idea how to tune for the 54mm bored MAF, but I can switch to a z32 MAF as soon as I get it up and running.

Awesome, they are fairly easy to unplug.

Is it a DET or DE+T?

DE+T. Here is the full setup:

141k mile 9.5:1 stock original 1995 Lowport (never been out of the car)
GTI-R t28, manifold, o2 housing
3" turbo back exhaust (no cat or rear 02)
JWT S4 Cams
Walbro 255
370cc @4bar with Nismo FPR
2.5" IC piping all around
Bored 54mm MAF going to z32 (I think I also have a stock one around somewhere)
Boost is usually at 15psi (though I will probably want to start tuning on just the stock 7psi)
Timing at 15*

This is a base map from Calum's DET tune morphed with a DE timing. Run low boost on this, and watch your AFR's and for knock.

You may need more fuel with all of the flow mods you have on your car though.

You're the man!

is it possible to change the MAF to stock before I start her up? I don't want to go doing too many things at once, like soldering in the pigtail for the z32 before I have the car up and running on the calum.

Wait, when was I supposed to use the XDF file?

Sure here is the DE maf tune. Once again expect it to be rough . It's important to have a working wideband when you first fire up the car, it may be really lean or really rich hehe. I had to calculate a new K value for the DE MAF, since no one really hits 4 bar on 370's without maxing out the DE maf. Also lowered the injector latency on this one.

Yes you need the B14 XDF to be able to modify it.
