Feedback Control
Does anyone know how the feedback control value affects engine management? The value in the OEM DE bin is F0 (240 dec) and the value in Calum's DE version 4 tune is F5 (245 dec). RomEditor shows this value in the Global Map.

Thanks for any insights.

Its a series of flags that turns on/off sections of the code. Actually theres several of these flag registers around that address. I have no idea what most of them do (you really need to have bins that have different stuff enabled to work it out). Basically Nissan used the same base code and toggled sections on or off for different model cars and markets.

Check out the newer B13 xdf for two flags I did work out (a check mark means the portion is enabled)- turning on/off the O2 sensor and turning on/off the knock sensor. I turn both of these off in the basic B13 DE tune (I don't know what the v4 has set, load it up in TunerPro and check). I do this mostly for 'old school' guys that don't want to fiddle with electronics, and just want to make adjustments to the afr via fuel pressure and have it 'stick' (i.e. the ecu won't make any corrections). Believe it or not, it doesn't really affect the drivability or fuel economy.
