Thread: Loading up tune to RTv2

Sent Dave an email already, but I need to know before tomorrow, so I'll ask you guys as well.


This is for using a stock .bin, taken from my current ECU.



Here's the steps I think I have to make:

- Connect consult cable
- Connect with CalumSult
- Extract stock BIN from ECU

- Switch stock ECU with CalumSult ECU
- Export tune from Stock BIN with BLinker
- Import tune to 64Z04_RTV2.bin

In TunerProRT:

- Load 64Z04V5_RTV2.XDF
- Load 64Z04V5_RTV2.ADX
- Load 64Z04_RTV2.BIN

- Set Softcut Rev Limit, Hard Rev Limit, Hard Rev Hysteresis to resp. 8000, 8000 and 100

- Set Launch Rev Limit, Launch Rev Limit Hysteresis and Launch Speed Limit to resp. 3500, 100 and 13 MPH (20 KPH)

- Save to a new bin, named Stock + 8000RPM + LC.BIN (or something like that)

But now, how do I get the tune to my RTv2? Calums old website says something about the use of the HEX file?


Also, should the IGN be ON (i.e. power to the ECU) when trying to connect to the ECU with CalumSult?

You can do so through TunerPro, just click the upload button while the ECU is connected.

Will have that info here shortly.

Found it! She's running on the CalumSult ECU now!
