I guess I'm not understanding what it is, is it like a different kind of .bin file or .xdf or what? What's it do differently?

TunerCode is a complete package of files, including a customized bin, XDF and ADX files for TunerProRT V5, and detailed documentation. The custom firmware in the bin provides capabilities beyond stock, and the documentation explains how the ECU works and details all of the logged and tunable parameters.
