Thread: Car Scene in Nashville?

Whats up fellas, I am wondering how is the car scene down in Nashville and better yet my fellow sr20 bretherens how many of you guys down there? Im asking because more than likely I will be moving down there but hoping to meet the locals and hang out. Hoping to have a garage once getting settled and all that. But post up the ones that live there and let me know how it is. Thanks ya'll in advance.

Depends on what your scene is? The hellaflush fashion scene seems to be alive and well. Not much drag racing since the nearest full 1/4 mile is in KY. The superspeedway is shut down right now, so there's not much for autocross and road racing at the moment unless you travel.

I most def don't have an issue with that. I'm looking for our kind of scene Nissan enthusiasts getting together. But I welcome anybody else or group that gets together for sake of awesome cars. How far time wise is the quarter mile track in ky?

It's only about an hour and a half.

If you're gonna be in Nashville, the 1/8th mile track is only like 30 min away. There are also car meets in Nashville, something called MCCM (Music City Car Meets). You can check that out on Facebook. I go to a little get together in Murfreesboro at the avenue on Fridays. There is usually a little of everything there like import, muscle, rat rods, big trucks, music, food, women, etc. All of my SR20 buddies have either moved away or sold their cars and lost interest. I need some more friends that like sentras cause I think I'm the only one in Murfreesboro right now

Nice I like any type of vehicle really, automotive enthusiast true at heart. And I've never been on an 1/8th mile track before but I really like 1/4s so I have no issue making the drive. I like that people still get together religiously, and get along, that is cool. Im glad to hear all of this. Thanks guys for filling me in.

Check the vid in my sig, that's what an 1/8th mile is like. I've personally never been to a 1/4 mile lol.
