NX2000 Brake Caliper upgrade question
Ok, sad sad day indeed. I was roaming through the local junk yard. Lord! I saw my old NX2000 I sold to a patient 5 years ago. No body damage, everything was intact, except the B14 wheels. I look under the hood, engine JDM,still there.

I love that car, shouldn't have felt bad for the old man pleading me to sell it to him...damn mistake.

Anway, I want to take the calipers, but the bolts too damn stuck. I should have brought some WD40 to bust them bolts loose. Do I need the rotor too. Can I just cut the brake line and upgrade with the new OEM?

Just get those brake bolts loose. If the rotors are too rusty buy new ones. But def get the calipers off there.

thanks Coheed! I've owned many cars, but never intend to get the AD calipers. Just cut the freaking rubber lines is OK right.

Torque members are the caliper brackets. The things you slide the brake pad on. You bolt it to the spindle and then you bolt the caliper on the torque member.

Try PB Blaster instead of WD. The bolts for the torque members are 17mm....a 1/2" drive will help with breaking those bolts loose.

You will need NX Rotors (w/abs).

Get in on the group buy for Technafit stainless braided hoses.
