Sticky Clutch Pedal
Well I have a sticking Clutch pedal and I can't figure out why it won't come back up. When I push the Clutch in and let out it will only raise about 1 inch and then it stops but if I wedge my toe under it, it will raise all the way back to normal. My Clutch doesn't slip or anything just the pedal. Any ideas what this is from? I lubed it checked for binding and found nothing any help would be appreciated.

Previous owner said it was just replaced. But if it wasn't what should I be looking for?

It needs adjusting. Odds are it is releasing too close to the floor.

Cool I'll check into that. Is there a certain way to adjust it to make it release farther out?

If it's disengaging too close to the floor you need to "shorten" the cable. Remove the air box to get at the clutch cable end, loosen the locking nut and then thread the knob to bring the cable through the bracket so that the cable end moves towards the front of the car. Stop doing this once the clutch cable attachment to the clutch actuator arm becomes snug. Don't go so far as to actually put tension on the clutch actuator arm. Tighten up the locking nut and put the air box back in and you should be good.

While you are in there, check to see that the cable is new, and that the physical mounting is correct. There could be something that slipped or was incorrectly installed.

Make sure to adjust it accordingly as that sticky pedal can lead to premature throw out bearing failure if its not releasing properly.
